Aaron Zdinak, P.E., HDR, Inc., a past VSPE President, has been appointed to serve effective January 1, 2017, on the State Building Code Technical Review Board. Members on this board serve at the pleasure of the Governor, so there is no set term length/limit. Aaron will serve until he is replaced or resigns.
Jim Kelly, P.E., Manager of Crane Engineering, Newport News Shipbuilding, is a past VSPE president and a current member of the Williamsburg James City County School Board, has been chosen to complete the unexpired term of Bif Johnson, P.E., on the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers and Landscape Architects (APELSCIDLA) Jim will serve through June 30, 2018. After which, he would be eligible to seek reappointment for a full four-year term.
