2008 Virginia Engineers Conference - Online Registrations Ends at Noon on Monday, Sept. 15

This statewide educational conference for engineers will be held Sept. 17-18 in Williamsburg at the Williamsburg Marriott.  Seminar topics, speakers, sponsorships, and registration information can be found at www.VirginaEngineersConference.org.  Open to all engineers in any discipline, you can earn as many as 12 Professional Development Hours by attending this two-day conference.

Of special interest this year is the project management session which will be taught on Thursday by Mike Ingardia, P.E.  Mike is bringing new and updated information for this year's conference.  And, for as little as $350 for a one-day member registration, you can earn 6 PDHs by attending this all-day seminar.  This price is exceptional considering that anywhere else the price is usually $1000 or more!

Members can attend both days for $500 and learn about engineering ethics, construction law, advances in cold-formed steel load bearing construction, technical writing, risk management, Craney Island eastward expansion, geothermal heat pump design, Virginia's water supply planning process, Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation, ASHRAE 90.1, and 19 other seminars from which to choose!

With mandatory continuing education becoming effective in Virginia later this year, this conference offers exceptional value at a very reasonable price.  Early registration ends August 10 so if you want to save money, register before then!  Check it out at www.VirginiaEngineersConference.org!
